The Truck Driver Manager oversees cross dock operations, supervises the staff of truck drivers, and drives company trucks to make route deliveries. Works closely with internal departments to ensure product is delivered to customers in a timely manner while staying compliant with DOT regulations.

Schedule for Non-CDL Truck Driver Manager:

• Salary: $55,000.00 per year
• Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (End time varies on most days due to workload/coverage)
• Up to 80% driving per day
• Daily supervision of drivers
• Eligible for the Lead Monthly Bonus!

Lead Truck Driver duties include but are not limited to:

• Oversee logistics cross dock operations, maintaining inventory levels and warehouse functionality.
• Supervise the staff of non-CDL truck drivers; responsible for orientation and training of new staff.
• Drive company trucks to make route deliveries to customers.
• Load and unload freight from trucks.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email.
• Complete paperwork in compliance with company and DOT regulations.
• Perform related duties, including updated route directions and stop-to-stop navigation.
• Coordinate with logistics and shop managers on maintenance issues and preventative maintenance of delivery trucks.
• Ensure compliance with all FMCSA rules and regulations.

Requirements for Box Truck Driver Lead:

• 1-3 years’ experience driving 26-28 ft box trucks or other commercial vehicles over 10,001 lbs.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Previous warehouse experience; ability to operate a forklift or man lift preferred.
• Must obtain forklift certification within three months of employment.
• Valid truck driver license and relevant endorsements; no restrictions.
• Willing to submit to drug screens, background checks, and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
• No recent moving or driving violations; maintain insurability.
• Ability to comply with all FMCSA rules and regulations.
