Job summary

S&D Roofing Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead crews on-site in Illinois.

This full-time role focuses on safety, organization, productivity, and delivering high-quality workmanship while keeping projects on schedule and communicating clearly with project managers, clients, and crew members. Responsibilities include directing workers, enforcing OSHA rules, inspecting work, coordinating materials, and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on roofing and crew leadership experience.
• OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour card preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for tracking hours, notes, job updates, and reports.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Clean, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct workers, assign daily tasks, and motivate the team to maintain strong productivity.
• Enforce OSHA rules, conduct safety meetings, and check job sites for hazards.
• Inspect roofing work to verify it meets manufacturer and industry standards.
• Update project managers, report daily progress, and communicate professionally with clients.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment needed for each job.
• Oversee daily job-site operations to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and with high-quality results.
• Troubleshoot & diagnose roof leaks.
