Job summary

Snowbot Philly East LLC is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide kids in building robots and learning basic engineering concepts. You will lead classroom sessions, promote hands-on learning, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

The role offers 25–35 hours per week, a $20/hour pay, paid training, and opportunities to travel to multiple Philadelphia-area locations. CPR/First Aid certification and background checks are required, with weekends and school holidays available.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with children.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Patient, friendly, and flexible in a dynamic classroom.
• Belief in diversifying the STEAM classroom.
• Ability to walk 1.5–2 miles per day and lift 35 pounds.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or arranged by us.
• Background checks (PA state police, FBI) required.
• Weekend and school-holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Teach robot-building classes to groups of children.
• Manage a classroom and keep sessions on schedule.
• Foster confidence and positive attitudes in kids.
• Troubleshoot robot issues with basic guidance.
• Help coordinate with other teachers, clients, and parents on site.
• Assist with lesson development and classroom setup.
• Support training, onboarding, and shadowing for new teachers
• Keep tools organized and report feedback to channels.
