Job summary

Genesis is seeking a licensed RN to lead and integrate a Skin Health and Wound management program within our nursing center in Alabama. You will collaborate with center management, support central supply as the clinical expert for skin and wound products, and oversee related durable medical equipment.

The role requires national wound certification or a commitment to obtain within one year, plus strong charting, incident reporting, and regulatory survey experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess an RN license and leadership review/approval.
• Completion of Skin Health Team Lead orientation and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire.
• National wound certification or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Experience with clinical charting, incident reporting, and investigation response.
• Strong knowledge of standards of care for the nursing center interprofessional team.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Database Management, and PowerPoint.
