Job summary

Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead nursing services on the floor, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance. The role requires a nursing degree, CPR certification, and prior supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, managing medications and supplies, and developing assessments for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum two years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings.
• Minimum one year of nursing supervisor experience, preferably in a nursing home setting.
• Must meet state licensure requirements and have no disciplinary action on license.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the floor assigned.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
• Reviews complaints and grievances and reports to the Director of Nursing as required.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment on the unit.
• Assists in developing resident assessments and makes nursing/aide assignments.
• Encourages staff to attend outside training programs and schedules sessions as appropriate.
