Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Lead RN - Medical Group at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview. The role is full-time, with hours Monday–Friday 8:00AM–5:30PM and travel between sites as needed.

You will supervise daily clinical operations and onboard/Mentor MAs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS in nursing, an active IL RN license, and BLS-CPR certification, with prior nursing experience in office or hospital settings a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for nursing leadership track.
• Currently licensed as a professional nurse in Illinois.
• BLS-CPR certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the practice with the Practice Manager.
• Onboard new Medical Assistants, provide classroom instruction and oversight.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development, Infection Control, Pharmacy and Lab.
• Instruct and supervise MA competencies and validators.
• Implement and maintain the Cornerstone program and staff records.
• Ensure CPR training/recertification for MG clinical staff and regional compliance.
• Coordinate with Practice Managers to develop new competencies as needed.
• Support regulatory compliance to meet TJC and other standards.
• Travel between sites is required.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

* Position: Lead RN - Medical Group

* Location: Glenbrook Hospital

* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours/week)

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-5:30PM

* Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

A Brief Overview:
Supervise the daily clinical operations of the practice in conjunction with and under the direction of the Practice Manager and Administrative Director

What you will do:

• Onboarding of all new MA's including classroom instruction and clinical oversight in the individual's practice setting
• Work collaboratively with Learning and Development, Infection Control, Pharmacy and Lab to create, review and revise program content for both MA orientation and any ongoing training
• Assist in instruction and oversight of clinical competencies for MA's
• Train individual MA's to be validators in their respective practices
• Manage the ongoing implementation of the Cornerstone Program
• Maintain licensing and certification records for staff
• responsible for ongoing oversight and maintenance of CPR training and recertification for MG clinical staff
• Work with Practice Managers and Clinical Staff when requested to develop new competencies for either the MG as a whole or for specific specialty procedures
• Support the Regulatory Compliance Team in oversight of practices to assure compliance with TJC and other regulatory standards
• Traveling between sites is required

What you will need:

• Education: Bachelors Degree Required
• License: Current professional Nursing License in the State of IL required
• Certification: BLS-CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required
• Experience: Prior office or hospital nursing experience is required
