Job summary

Summit Health is seeking an experienced nursing professional to provide direct patient care within the licensed scope. You will document vitals and meds in the EHR, collect specimens, administer injections, and coordinate appointments across teams. A NJ nursing license and BLS are required, with 0–4 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• New Jersey State Nursing License and BLS certification required.
• 0–4 years experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with EHR, PMS and health care software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care within the scope of licensure and policy.
• Maintains accuracy of patient records and vital signs in EHR.
• Collects lab specimens and labels them correctly.
• Schedules appointments and coordinates care across teams.
• Administers injections per protocol and documents in EHR.
• Manages patient flow and triage protocols as needed.
• Maintains safety and infection control during all procedures.
• Assists in transitions of care to UCC/Hospital.
