Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Managed Care in West Texas is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to lead nursing care and support unit objectives within the legal scope of practice. You will provide high-quality care and support dynamic healthcare teams.

You will work under the supervision of the Unit Director of Nurses, supervise clinic personnel when needed, and collaborate with patients and staff to deliver safe, competent care across 22 facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Two years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months of that experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Possession of a valid, current RN license as approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and support unit objectives within your scope of practice.
• Assist the Unit Director of Nurses and supervise clinic personnel when they are absent.
• Interact with patients and clinic staff to ensure safe and competent care.
