Job summary

Guy M Turner seeks a Rigging Foreman / Supervisor to lead crews in lifting and moving materials and machines using hoists, winches, cranes, and forklifts. The role is hands-on, often with long hours, including weekends and holidays.

The position requires 1–3 years of rigging or heavy lift experience and 2–3 years of Foreman experience, plus strong communication and basic computer skills. OSHA safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of rigging or heavy lift experience.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates rigging and lifting activities with safety procedures.
• Determine proper lifting methods for each project.
• Load heavy lift projects by rigging customer equipment correctly.
• Direct crew to move equipment to/from work areas.
• Optimize resources to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure crews have tools, equipment, and materials; prevent misuse.
• Read and follow procedures; understand specs and drawings.
• Specify locations for machinery movement using lifting knowledge.
• Enforce OSHA safety procedures and company rules.
