Job description

We are working on behalf of a fast-growing maker of High Power Amplifiers and RF Sub-Systems for Radar, EW, and other Defense applications.
They are based in the Northern NJ/NYC metro area.

Position: Lead Manufacturing Engineer

They are looking for a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, who will drive manufacturing and interface with design engineering and other technical groups.

  1. Take designs and plan how to get them manufactured, then implement that plan.
  2. Coordinate with groups relevant to design, materials, and inventory, helping drive best practices.
  3. Ensure high yields, efficiency, and cycle times.
Qualifications

We need a BSEE or similar technical experience, with 5-10+ years of experience getting RF modules and subsystems into production.
Prefer experience with methods like AS9100, ISO9100, ERP, Six Sigma, and LEAN to provide tools for a systemic, proactive approach.
Our candidate would ideally come from an RF Amplifier/RF subsystems technical background, with experience in the Defense market.
