We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Lead Revit Designer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will have a significant role in the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for various construction projects. The Lead Revit Designer will be responsible for the overall design process, from conceptual phase through construction documentation. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/mechanical design. The candidate must possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• 1. Lead and oversee the design process of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems using Revit and other BIM software.
• 2. Develop and manage Revit models for MEP design and coordination.
• 3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure design consistency and integrity.
• 4. Use advanced design software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs.
• 5. Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
• 6. Produce detailed schematics for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• 7. Collaborate with project teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• 8. Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make corrections to drawings as requested by project leaders.
• 9. Ensure all designs adhere to existing industry and company standards.
• 10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• 1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Revit design with a focus on MEP systems.
• 3. Proficient in Revit and other BIM software.
• 4. Strong knowledge and experience in piping design, HVAC system design, or similar.
• 5. Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
• 6. Strong understanding of construction methods and processes.
• 7. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• 8. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 9. Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and codes.
• 10. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• 11. Familiarity with other design software like AutoCAD, Navisworks, or SolidWorks would be advantageous.
