Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a detail-oriented auditor to perform daily audits across Cage, VLT, Racing, and Non-gaming areas. The role involves monitoring revenue audits, maintaining meticulous records, and ensuring adherence to gaming regulations.

You will support Finance leadership and help prepare daily and monthly statistics. Qualified candidates should have strong Excel skills, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State and Gaming regulations.
• Must successfully pass background check and alcohol/drug screening.
• Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Assists and monitors the daily audit of Cage, VLTs, Racing, Soft count and Non-gaming audits.
• Investigates and reports discrepancies determined through audit processes to property Finance leadership.
• Prepares information and reports to ensure compliance with gaming commission rules and Company policies and procedures.
• Maintains accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits of areas of responsibility.
• Anticipates ongoing changes, problems, and opportunities to maintain effective systems and procedures.
• Assists in the preparation of the daily and monthly Racino statistics.
• Provides assistance to Revenue Auditors and reviews completed audits for accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent is responsible for the daily audit of Cage, VLT, Racing, Non-gaming revenue areas. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring work performed by Revenue Auditors to ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Knowledge of:

• Knowledge of audit functions.
• Effective written and oral communication skills necessary.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Advanced with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and 10-key calculator.

Ability to:

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, as well as outside contacts.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must possess basic math skills.
