Job Summary

The Lead Wellness Advisor at Sunnyside* Wintersville, OH will advise customers (recreational, medicinal, caregivers) on cannabis products, embodying our mission to normalize and professionalize cannabis. Responsibilities include customer service, product knowledge, compliance, onboarding, and training new hires.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience leading and managing a team, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching.
• Strong retail fundamentals, including scheduling, sales trend analysis, and reporting.
• Conflict resolution, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in talent management and customer service.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Core Responsibilities

• Customer consultations and product education.
• Applying sales techniques and verifying customer documentation.
• Order processing, packaging, and inventory management.
• Maintaining compliance, store organization, and safety standards.
• Training and onboarding new Wellness Advisors.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years customer service experience; cannabis experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
