Job summary

AbleLight is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help supervise store operations, train and coach associates and volunteers to advance our mission. You will direct staff to meet customer satisfaction and production standards and help achieve goals.

The role requires leadership, retail experience and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment, with availability for full-time hours across days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of retail or customer service experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record as defined by AbleLight.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis and stand on feet for up to eight hours.
• Able to assemble and move racks and shelves for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work fulltime hours during the week (days, evenings, and weekends).

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains established standards to ensure we achieve maximum value on donated goods while implementing effective space utilization.
• Provides coaching and training to assigned associates and volunteers.
• Assists in resolving associate, donor and customer concerns.
• Follows established loss prevention and security procedures.
• Completes timely and accurate required reports.
• Maintains a safe and orderly work environment, ensuring staff follow safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
