Job summary

AbleLight is seeking a full-time Lead Retail Sales Associate in Appleton, WI to supervise store operations, rotate products, and coach volunteers and staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve goals. You will guide cashiers and sales associates, ensure safety standards, and help maximize donated goods value in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of retail or customer service experience and one year in a leadership role, plus a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of retail or customer service experience.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly and stand for long periods.
• Ability to move racks and shelves and ascend/descend stairs.
• Full-time hours including days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains standards to maximize value of donated goods.
• Provides coaching and training to assigned staff and volunteers.
• Assists in resolving associate, donor and customer concerns.
• Follows established loss prevention and security procedures.
• Completes timely and accurate required reports.
• Maintains a safe and orderly work environment with safe practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

AbleLight is looking for a full-time Lead Retail Sales Associate!

Lead Sales Associates assist in supervising store operations, product rotation, training and coaching of associates and volunteers to advance AbleLight's mission, vision and core values. Lead Associates provide direction to staff to ensure that customer satisfaction and production standards are being met to achieve established goals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of retail or customer service experience
• One year of leadership experience.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record as defined by AbleLight.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis (more occasionally) and stand on feet for up to eight hours.
• Able to assemble and move racks and shelves for extended periods of time.
• Able to carry items up and down stairs as needed.
• Must be able to work fulltime hours during the week (days, evenings, and weekends).
