Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to support store operations and customer service. This part-time role requires evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled, with pay range of $16.73–$21 per hour.

You will assist management with sales, opening/closing procedures, banking, inventory turnover and merchandising, while contributing to a mission-driven team in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English.
• Basic computer skills including POS system and payroll program.
• Proficient cash handling and accurate change-giving abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with product sales and acquisitions.
• Implement store opening and closing procedures.
• Handle banking and daily deposits.
• Execute strategies to meet product acquisition, production and sales goals.
• Manage product rotation and inventory turnover.
