Job summary

ServiceMaster DSI in Springfield, IL seeks a Restoration Crew Chief/Restoration Supervisor to lead residential and commercial fire and water clean-up projects. You will oversee specialist mitigation, water extraction, cleaning, mold abatement and content handling, guiding Technicians and staff to deliver quality results.

The role offers on-the-job training, advancement opportunities, and a starting hourly wage of $21–$22 with negotiable terms based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Previous Crew Chief experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Water Restoration Tech Certification (WRT).

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely quality completion of restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
• Directs, aids and supervises Restoration Techs and staff on the project.
• Ensure and evaluate competence and quality of Restoration Techs and staff.
• Ensures ongoing training and skill development of staff.
• Ensures security and cleanliness of equipment and supplies.
• Ensures productivity of staff assigned to the project.
• Ensures all restoration project documentation is complete per protocol.
• Ensures excellent customer communication and relations.
• Performs other duties as required.
