Job summary

Whataburger is hiring a Restaurant Manager in Oklahoma City to lead a high-volume location with 4M+ in annual sales and a 50+ team. You will drive hospitality, uphold standards, coach staff, and partner with leadership to grow performance and profitability.

You’ll be responsible for achieving sales, labor, and food-cost goals while ensuring food safety and a positive work culture in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to meet business needs, including overnights, weekends, holidays, and variable hours.
• Lift up to 55 lbs. and stand up to 10 hours.
• Have 1–3 years of leadership experience.
• Possess ServSafe Food Manager Certification (or the ability to obtain).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and car liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations to meet quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Champion hospitality and guest service standards, creating friendly, fast, and authentic Whataburger experiences.
• Coach, develop, and support Family Members to reach their full potential.
• Be responsible for achieving restaurant goals across sales, labor, food cost, and profitability.
• Ensure food safety, workplace safety, and brand standards are upheld.
• Model Whataburger values and create a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Lead shift transitions and maintain smooth operations across all day parts.
• Guide talent development, training, hiring, and retention with the restaurant leadership team.
• Support business planning, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
