Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is seeking an MD/DO Principal Investigator for respiratory clinical trials in McAllen, TX. You will oversee all trial activities, ensure GCP/ICH compliance, supervise the site team, and manage data integrity and regulatory submissions.

You will lead investigators and staff, coordinate regulatory affairs, and ensure patient safety while maintaining rigorous documentation and communication with sponsors and IRBs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with license and clinical trial leadership experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ICH‑GCP, FDA regulations and ethical requirements.
• Proven ability to lead sponsors, CROs, IRBs and site staff.
• Experience with respiratory trial indications and patient safety.
• Strong written and verbal English communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document findings and contribute to clinical trials and registries.
• Oversee all trial activities at the site and ensure protocol adherence.
• Lead and supervise the clinical research team; delegate duties appropriately.
• Monitor patient assessments remotely when needed; ensure enrollment criteria.
• Manage IP accountability, storage, and administration per protocol.
• Participate in site initiation, monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical research developments.
