Qualifications

• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Advanced Critical Care Specialist (RRT-ACCS) for adult care.
• RRT-ACCS OR Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (RRT-NPS) for mixed care settings.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications may be required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced respiratory care under physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Perform complex interventions validated through competency assessments.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for respiratory care team members.
• Provide coverage across multiple critical care settings as needed.
