Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Lead to supervise staff and help run the Respiratory Therapy department on the 12-hour night shift.

The role requires leadership experience, an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care, an MA license, and current NBRC credentials as an RRT; BLS/NRP required, ACLS recommended. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care and MA licensure.
• NBRC certification as RRT required; BLS and NRP (or within 90 days)
• 3+ years respiratory care experience; 2+ years in critical care; prior lead/supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and staff supervision of respiratory therapy and BG Lab operations.
• Serve as liaison for the department when the manager is not present.
• Perform quality audits/data collection via chart reviews and staff interviews.
• Participate in hiring, orientation, and training of department staff
