Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee shift-based respiratory care and lead the respiratory therapy team. You will ensure high-quality patient care and coordinate scheduling across teams.

Responsibilities include performing assessments, delivering therapies, and evaluating patient responses in collaboration with the health care team, while maintaining critical care standards and certifications such as NRP and PALS.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required.
• Florida Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure or state equivalent.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP certifications required.
• English language proficiency (read/write/speak).

Responsibilities

• Lead the respiratory therapy team across shifts and coordinate scheduling.
• Perform respiratory assessments and implement therapies per guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
