Job summary

Apex, NC-based AstroWatt Electric is seeking a Lead Installer to own residential installation projects end-to-end. You will lead and mentor your crew, communicate with homeowners, and ensure craftsmanship and customer experience reflect AstroWatt’s standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in residential electrical work, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety. This full-time role offers competitive pay, bonuses, and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical experience.
• Experience leading a crew or mentoring other electricians.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential electrical installation projects from start to finish.
• Mentor and develop apprentices and other electricians.
• Plan jobs, identify materials, and ensure crew has what they need.
• Install and upgrade panels, EV chargers, dedicated circuits, fixtures, and fans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on site.
• Communicate with homeowners and explain the work performed.
