Job summary

Vertex Mechanical is seeking a seasoned Residential HVAC Installer to own complete replacement and installation projects for homeowners. You will lead from delivery to startup, ensuring quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Solid mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong understanding of residential HVAC installation practices.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Professional, dependable approach to working in customers' homes.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential HVAC system installations from equipment delivery through final startup.
• Install heating and cooling equipment in accordance with manufacturer requirements and applicable codes.
• Work alongside other installers and coordinate with the office and field teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Walk homeowners through their new system, explain basic operation, and address questions before wrapping up the job.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and respectful of the customer's home.
• Identify and resolve installation issues while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Set the example for professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail on every job.
