Job summary

Garage Door Partners is seeking a Lead Residential Garage Door Installer in Georgia to own high-quality installs and guide field crews. You will install and replace residential doors and openers, solve on-site challenges, and ensure a professional customer experience from arrival through walkthrough.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on residential garage door installation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, confirm measurements, identify parts, and troubleshoot on-site conditions.
• Leadership skills with ability to coach others while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills for homes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record per company requirements.
• Able to pass background check and drug-screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential garage door and opener installations from site prep to final inspection and handoff.
• Install, replace, adjust, and test doors, tracks, springs, cables, hardware, weather seals, and operators per specs.
• Review work orders and site conditions; identify issues and propose solutions.
• Coach installers, reinforce safety and quality, and maintain efficiency.
• Troubleshoot field issues and protect customer home and property.
• Keep accurate job documentation, photos, material usage, and completion notes.
• Provide homeowners with final walkthrough and basic operation guidance.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools in good condition and ready for work.
• Collaborate with dispatch, sales, warehouse, and operations for excellent customer experience.
