Job summary

Hayden Homes is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee the construction of homes within assigned communities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while keeping projects on budget.

You will schedule activities, coordinate with trade partners, monitor costs, and communicate with customers to confirm requirements and progress. This is a hands-on, field-based role in the Inland Northwest region.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Prior residential / homebuilding construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Management: Manage each project by the schedule and oversee all construction activities for assigned homes.
• Safety: Ensure construction of homes is conducted in a safe manner and safety regulations are followed.
• Quality: Ensure each home is constructed within quality standards and take corrective action when quality standards are not met.
• Budget: Manage all financial duties associated with construction projects, keeping the projects on time and on budget; negotiate with trade partners for best price/value.
• Customer Communication/Management: Ensure customer delight through timely and effective communication and guided site visits.
