GCB Building Group is seeking an experienced Lead Residential Carpenter – High-End Construction to join our Field Operations team. This full-time role combines hands-on craftsmanship across framing, drywall, and trim with leadership duties on multiple projects in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

You will oversee crews, read blueprints, coordinate with project managers and clients, and mentor junior team members while upholding our quality standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential carpentry experience.
• Ability to lead on-site teams or projects.
• Proficiency in framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and trim installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive work ethic.
• Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage rough and finish carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and trim work.
• Lead job sites and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specs.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Mentor junior team members and lead your own crew eventually.

Key Responsibilities

• Track materials, tools, and daily progress efficiently.
• Represent the company professionally to clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of residential carpentry experience, with exposure to various trades.
• Proven ability to lead on-site teams or projects.
• Proficient in framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and trim installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic.
• Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
