Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry work on residential remodeling projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and whole-home renovations.
• Perform and oversee framing, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other detailed construction work.
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate day-to-day field activities with project managers and other team members.
• Help keep projects moving efficiently and identify potential issues before they affect schedules.
• Troubleshoot field challenges and make practical, informed decisions.
• Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Mentor and support developing carpenters.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, trade partners, project managers, and coworkers.
• Take ownership of work from initial layout through final details and punch-list completion.

Chads Design Build is looking for an experienced Lead Residential Carpenter to help deliver residential remodeling projects throughout the Madison area.

What You'll Do
