Job summary

Chads Design Build in Madison, WI is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our residential remodeling team. You’ll work on kitchens, bathrooms, basements and additions, delivering high-quality craftsmanship with pride.

Responsibilities include reading construction plans, performing framing, finish carpentry, trim, cabinetry, doors and windows, and collaborating with project managers to keep projects on schedule. A strong team mindset and reliable hand tools are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience.
• Strong finish carpentry and general carpentry skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Personal hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Troubleshoot field challenges and contribute practical solutions.
• Mentor less experienced carpenters and lead by example.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and coworkers throughout each project.
