Job summary

A&E + SMA Design is seeking a Residential Project Architect to join our Montana-based team. The candidate will lead high-end residential design from concept through construction, translating client visions into elegant, functional spaces while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and consultants.

We value collaboration, design excellence, and sustainable, meaningful design. Must be located in MT and legally eligible to work in the U.S.; Revit and 3D rendering skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture required or preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential architecture.
• Emphasis on high-end residential design.
• Architectural licensure preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with 3D rendering tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of high-end residential projects from concept to construction.
• Translate client vision into innovative, functional, and beautiful design solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Research and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Develop and manage project schedules and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Attend job site meetings and respond to RFI’s during construction administration.
• Produce accurate drawings and visuals using Revit and rendering tools.
