Job summary

Extremity-Care seeks a Research Scientist to lead the investigation and development of innovative human cells, tissues, and cellular products. You will own all aspects of assigned projects, including scheduling, experimental design, process development, and budgeting, while collaborating with Product Development and Marketing teams.

The role requires doctoral level expertise with 3+ years post‑doc and 1+ year industry experience, plus strong scientific writing and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or higher with post‑doctoral experience; industry experience preferred.
• Experience in technical writing with peer‑reviewed manuscripts or grants.
• Experience using complex statistical software (GraphPad Prism).
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• At least 3 years of R&D experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own & develop project deliverables for new product technologies and process improvements.
• Manage project activities, schedules, and provide weekly updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to execute research projects.
• Support scaling manufacturing processes and resolve issues.
• Prepare protocols, reports, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with FDA and other regulatory standards.
