Job summary

University of Kentucky in Lexington is seeking an experienced manager to oversee several research projects within the Family & Community Medicine research lab. You will handle program administration, protocol implementation, subject recruitment, data coordination, and quality assurance.

The role also includes oversight of research operations, reporting to the PI, staff training on protocols, data cleaning, manuscript preparation, and grant submissions.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing data bases, data management and data cleaning.
  • Proficiency with Qualtrics and REDCap for survey and database work.
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint for presentations and reports.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to solve problems, manage budgets, and train staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage several ongoing and upcoming research projects.
  • Administer program operations and oversee study protocol implementation.
  • Coordinate recruitment of research subjects and oversee data collection and database management.
  • Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and reporting across projects.
  • Supervise research staff and train personnel on protocols and policies.
  • Assist with data cleaning, manuscript preparation, and grant writing/submission.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
