Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a hands-on Senior Manager to advance Research Intelligence & Data within Molecular Invention Data. The role blends domain analysis, data engineering, and applied AI to deliver intelligence products that improve discovery portfolio management, scientific insights, and decision-making.

You will lead engineers and analysts, ensuring reliable data and scalable, responsible AI solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
6+ years of experience delivering production data/software/analytics solutions.
Hands-on experience with generative AI or agentic systems, including orchestration, retrieval, tools/APIs, evaluation, monitoring, and responsible AI controls.
Strong software and data engineering fundamentals (Python, SQL, APIs, cloud platforms, source control, testing, CI/CD).
Experience eliciting requirements, analyzing processes and data, and translating needs into implementable designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of reusable Research Intelligence capabilities across the Research domain.
Engineer AI-enabled workflows combining data, domain context, tools, APIs, models, and human input.
Ensure evaluation, observability, guardrails, and responsible AI controls.
Develop roadmaps and delivery plans balancing experimentation with scalable enterprise capability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate domain needs into technical designs and reusable patterns.
