Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a skilled Research Coordinator to independently coordinate research and administrative tasks in support of one or more studies. You will work with investigators and the study manager to resolve issues and may back up colleagues as needed.

The role supports departmental budgeting and billing, may develop instruments and assist in manuscripts, and requires after-hours support, on-call and occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years in clinical research required.
• 4 years of job related experience required.
• 2 years of leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinates research and administrative tasks in support of one or more research studies.
• Works with study investigators and manager to address study-related issues.
• Backs up other coordinators as needed.
• Supports department financial performance through budgeting, billing and as directed.
• May develop specialized research instruments and assist in the preparation of manuscripts or presentations.
• May entail regular after-hours support, occasional on-call work and occasional overnight travel.
• Trains other research coordinators in the proper conduct of research studies and participates in quality control activities.
