Job summary

Burns & McDonnell seeks a Project Delivery Manager in Kansas City to lead a team of consultants in the Renewables & Markets Advisory practice. You will guide project delivery, staffing, and client engagement to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will partner with managing directors and business line leads to drive strategic initiatives, optimize performance, and maintain safety and quality standards across multiple engagements. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to present to all levels.
• Ability to influence, lead, and manage change.
• Strong project management and strategic perspective.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of consultants and analysts.
• Lead delivery of consulting engagements across energy advisory domains.
• Ensure efficient staffing, workload management, and billable targets.
• Oversee project QA/QC to meet client expectations.
• Collaborate with directors to support business development and proposals.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
