Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Substation Commissioning Manager of Renewable Energy for a 1-year contract. This role involves overseeing commissioning activities for renewable power plant projects, including wind and solar. Responsibilities include managing EPC contractor personnel, ensuring compliance with project documents, and maintaining project reliability. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project construction and a strong background in electrical construction. The position may begin in Missouri or North Dakota with per diem offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in on-site project support for renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning.
• 3+ years experience minimum working for an EPC in renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commissioning activities for assigned projects are performed with high quality and follow all safety policies.
• Coordinate and manage EPC contractor personnel, OEM start up personnel, third-party start up contractors, and operations personnel on site.
• Be responsible for project reliability at operational turnover with minimal lost time in initial operation.
• Ensure compliance with all project contractual documents.
• Manage onsite commissioning personnel and third parties.
