Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Sr Test Development Engineer to lead end-to-end automated tests for CGM software and firmware. You will design, build, and maintain test solutions across firmware, mobile apps, and servers, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with development teams to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development or software test development.
• 4+ years programming with Java and Python; Ruby a plus.
• Experience in software testing and QA.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Familiarity with Android/iOS devices and debugging.
• Experience with API-based testing.
• Knowledge of network debugging tools like Charles Proxy.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional work.
• Nice-to-have: medical device industry experience.
• Nice-to-have: Xcode and Android Studio/ADB knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, execution, and maintenance of end-to-end automated tests for software and firmware.
• Use AI to accelerate test development and maintain coverage quality.
• Develop and maintain tests and CI/CT for end-to-end suites.
• Record and track issues in the defect system.
• Analyze failures with development teams to find root causes.
• Review requirements and design specs; adapt tests accordingly.
• Perform regression validation and traceability matrices.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
