About Rivian

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

Role Summary

As a Lead Remarketing Advisor, Auction, you will lead and define our North American trade-in and remarketing operational strategy, driving cross-functional alignment across valuation, logistics, transportation, storage, and disposition channels.

This position requires a management-level strategic leader with an established track record of transforming automotive or technology operations. You will architect scalable operational models, establish long-term partner ecosystems, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize total cost-to-serve while elevating customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented individual with a passion for process improvement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and support broader company initiatives.

Join our team as we redefine the remarketing industry and continue to build a world-class operation.

  • Be an agent of change that owns effective communication of company messages; ensures that the entire team is informed of the vision of our business.
  • Create clear tactics and action steps when developing high level strategy, coach team to success through a combination of open questions, effective listening, and accountability to both goals and the team success.
  • Develop and maintain relationships across the organization; make yourself available to assist others with their initiatives and companywide goals.
  • Train and mentor team members and partners on best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Possess both strong and professional communication capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of progressive leadership and operational experience in high-volume vehicle valuation, auction disposition strategy, transportation & logistics, DMV operations, and enterprise remarketing
  • Prior OEM or Dealer Remarketing experience a plus
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments and key stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain a constant feedback loop on developing processes while working creatively to independently problem solve
  • Experience in analyzing reports; creating action plans based on data using tools like Excel, Databricks, Tableau, and internal reporting to identify trends and drive results Prior experience with EV and Automotive Ecommerce
  • Expert Proficiency with Microsoft suite, Google Suite, Smartsheet, Salesforce to create spreadsheets, documents, and presentations
