A leading pediatric hospital is seeking a Sleep Center support role to assist with sleep studies and daily operations. Responsibilities include scoring studies, managing equipment requests, and supporting the Department Director. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience and certifications in sleep technology.
This position exists to provide support to the Sleep Center for Children in conjunction with the Medical Director and the Department Director. The primary responsibility is to score and generate preliminary reports on all sleep studies performed at the sleep lab according to AASM scoring guidelines. Responsibilities also include setting up daytime sleep studies, assisting the Sleep Clinic as needed, and supporting the Department Director in managing daily operations of the Sleep Clinic/Center and EEG department. The role involves making recommendations, submitting equipment and supply requests, overseeing QA activities of the night technician, and acting as a backup for the Lead EEG Tech. Additional duties may be assigned by the Department Director. The position reports directly to the Department Director and Medical Director. Completion of 10 SLEEP/EEG related CEUs within one year of hire and annually thereafter is required.
