Ochsner Health seeks a nurse leader to deliver patient care using the nursing process within regulatory standards. The role delegates, directs, and supports licensed staff and ensures quality outcomes while respecting diverse cultural needs.

The incumbent maintains responsibility for practice, supports organizational nursing philosophy, and participates in unit and department strategic goals with professional accountability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice (RN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Responsabilités

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources; leads the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Supports patient satisfaction, morale, and professional nursing practice.
