Job summary

Kenwood Health Center is seeking an experienced nurse leader to supervise LPNs, LVNs and CNAs and ensure high-quality resident care. You will work with physicians to implement orders, supervise staff, and coordinate nursing care plans in a team-based environment.

The role requires an active RN license and a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with strong communication and leadership abilities to support staff and residents in a compliant, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with valid state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Experience directing, motivating and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Interview applicants and participate in counseling as permitted by law.
• Lead team conferences and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement physicians' orders and administer medications and treatments.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are safe and maintained.
• Coordinate nursing care for residents scheduled for therapy or procedures.
• Document observations and reactions to care.
• Assist or institute emergency measures as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
