Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional services across one or more long-term care facilities. You will assess needs, develop meal plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor residents’ progress while supporting recruiting and training efforts.

You’ll lead a team, provide education to residents and staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to elevate patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics required; Master's degree preferred.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as required by state.
• Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Ability to read and interpret dining service cost reports and financial data.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to read and interpret dining service cost reports, financial data, etc.
• Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.
