Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional services across long-term care facilities. You will assess residents, create individualized meal plans, and ensure compliance with regulations while guiding a team of dietitians.

You will provide education to residents, families, and staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and cover multiple buildings as needed. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as required by state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in dietary services in long-term care.
• Strong leadership and communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret dining service cost reports and financial data.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, or customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must be able to read and interpret dining service cost reports, financial data, etc.
• Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.
