Job summary

Applied ABC in Stone Mountain, GA, is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician to advance clinical leadership while delivering high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy. The role focuses on mentoring RBTs, coordinating with BCBAs, and ensuring client progress within a supportive center environment.

The position is in-center, full-time, with a schedule of 11:00 am–7:00 pm and a compensation range of $55K–$60K based on experience. Active RBT certification required and Georgia location.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of ABA/RBT experience preferred.
• Experience mentoring, training, onboarding, or supporting other RBTs strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles, behavior intervention plans, and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor RBT team members, serving as a clinical resource.
• Provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy per BCBA plans and support session integrity.
• Document behavioral data and client progress, ensuring timely reports.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and care team to maintain program consistency and center operations.

Applied ABC is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is ready to take the next step into a leadership-focused role at our Stone Mountain center.

As Lead RBT, you will continue providing high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy while serving as a trusted resource for fellow RBTs and partnering closely with BCBAs to support clinical consistency, team development, and excellent client care.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced RBT who enjoys mentoring others, taking initiative, and helping create a positive and effective clinical environment.

Position Details

• Compensation: $55K up to $60K annually, based on experience and qualifications.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, with flexibility for weekend coverage based on center needs.
• Location: Stone Mountain, GA
• Work Type: In-Center
• Certification: Active RBT certification required.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Mentor

• Serve as a positive role model and clinical resource for RBT team members.
• Mentor and support RBTs through hands-on coaching, modeling, and constructive feedback.
• Assist with onboarding, shadowing, and development of new RBTs.
• Support a collaborative and accountable center culture.

Support Clinical Excellence

• Provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy in accordance with individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
• Partner with BCBAs to support treatment of integrity and consistency across sessions.
• Identify clinical barriers, trends, and opportunities for additional staff support or training.
• Assist with client and staff coverage based on center needs.

Maintain Quality & Documentation

• Accurately collect and document behavioral and skill-acquisition data.
• Maintain timely and professional session documentation.
• Communicate client progress, concerns, and treatment barriers to supervising BCBA.
• Support continued improvement in service quality and client outcomes.

Collaborate with the Team

• Maintain professional communication with BCBAs, RBTs, families, and other members of the care team.
• Help promote consistency across client programming and daily center operations.
• Support the team during schedule changes, staffing needs, and other operational priorities.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of ABA or RBT experience is preferred.
• Experience mentoring, training, onboarding, or supporting other RBTs strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles, behavior intervention plans, skill-acquisition programs, and data collection.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide supportive and constructive feedback to peers.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Passion for supporting both client progress and team development.
• Flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend coverage when needed.
