Certarus Ltd. is seeking a Lead Regional Technician to guide a regional team in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CNG/RNG/hydrogen equipment at our hubs and customer sites.

Travel within the North Dakota region is expected, with a schedule designed to keep you close to home. You will mentor technicians, monitor plant and fleet operations, manage parts inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering reliable gas compression services and equipment setup for

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a technician field role.
• Associates of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field is an asset.
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical and gas processing equipment.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. CDL is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and mentor the team of regional technicians.
• Ensure inventory of equipment and parts is up to date and accurate.
• Provide mechanical and technical services on process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites.
• Set up and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment to/from customer locations.
• Ensure internal policies and government safety and regulatory standards are met.
• Other duties as designated.

Summary:

The Lead Regional Technician will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Certarus equipment at our CNG filling station and customer sites. The position plays a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers. This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager

Schedule:

• Daily regional travel between Certarus sites, with a potential to travel outside of the assigned region is possible
• This position provides a set shift schedule that allows you to get home each day or night

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the overall plant and fleet operations in the region, while contributing to a safe working environment
• Oversee and provide mentorship to the team of regional technicians
• Ensure inventory of equipment and parts are update to date and accurate
• Lending mechanical and technical services on process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites
• Setup and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment to/from customer locations
• Ensure that internal policies and government safety and regulatory standards are met
• Other duties as designated

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technician field role
• Associates of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field is an asset
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical and experience in gas processing equipment including production, field gas or gas compression
• Positive attitude with excellent communication & customer service skills
• Must have and maintain and valid driver’s license. CDL driver’s license is an asset
