Job summary

Certarus Ltd. is seeking a Lead Regional Technician to head a team of technicians across the CNG filling stations and customer sites. You will oversee installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Certarus equipment while supporting CNG delivery operations.

This role requires 5+ years in a technician field, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred). You will report to the Regional Operations Manager and travel daily within the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a technician field role.
• Minimum 1 year of Certarus experience.
• Associate degree is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a regional technicians team.

• Ensure inventory of equipment and parts is up to date.
• Provide technical services on gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites.
• Set up and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment at customer locations.

Summary

Lead Regional Technician will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Certarus equipment at our CNG filling station and customer sites. The position plays a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers. This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager.

Summary

Lead Regional Technician will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Certarus equipment at our CNG filling station and customer sites. The position plays a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers. This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager.

Schedule

• This position is scheduled for day shifts including weekends with occasional night shift coverage. Shift schedules will be determined by Hub Management based on operational needs.
• Daily travel between Certarus sites within the assigned region. Occasionally travel outside of the assigned region may also be required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor the overall plant and fleet operations in the region, while contributing to a safeworking environment.
• Oversee and provide mentorship to the team of regional technicians.
• Create and monitor schedule for the team.
• Ensure inventory of equipment and parts are up to date and accurate.
• Lending mechanical and technical services on process equipment and gas compression at Certarus hubs and customer sites.
• Set up and breakdown of pressure reduction equipment to/from customer locations.
• Ensure that internal policies and government safety and regulatory standards are met.
• Other duties as designated.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a technician field role.
• Minimum 1 year of Certarus experience.
• Associates of Applied Science in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field is an asset.
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical and experience in gas processing equipment including production, field gas or gas compression.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Must have and maintain and valid driver's license. CDL driver's license is an asset.
