• Provide application consulting and training to Belimo sales and customers for new technical applications.
• Lead and inspire Regional Applications Consultants; coordinate large, complex data center projects.

• Influence specifications, coordinate procurement, and drive growth through design leverage.

Summary

The Lead Regional Application Consultant - Data Centers is responsible for providing strong application, consulting and training support to key influencers and customers in the data center industry as well as to Belimo salespeople pursuing data center opportunities. In addition, the role will involve support of the Belimo Sales Team for large, complex, data center projects involving decision influencers in multiple geographies and sales channels.

What You'll Do

• Provide application consulting, education, and support to the Belimo sales teams and customers for new technical applications, while also researching industry trends and implications with a strategic focus on the Data Center market.
• Manage, lead, and inspire Regional Applications Consultants who are direct reports.
• Work Closely with OEM’s, Data Center Solutions team and sales team for technical and application support related to pre or post sale activities.
• Assume a lead role in large, complex project coordination to ensure Belimo’s product line is fully leveraged and positioned in design, specifications and (ultimately) procurement.
• Connect Contracting projects and specifications for equipment manufacturers with sales team including Data Center, OEM, and Vertical market team and contracting, to drive incremental growth.
• Support sales efforts by cultivating strong relationships with end users and consulting engineering customers providing product training, information, recommendations and troubleshooting issues.
• Identify potential new product applications and communicate concepts to Sales Team, Product Management and Engineering to develop new business.
• Utilize applications expertise to assist sales force in the development of new business utilizing "pull through" sales efforts for the purpose of acquiring specifications and demand for our products.
• Keep informed of new consulting engineering and end user projects and provide leads to sales teams.
• Training (in-person or virtual) for Consulting engineers, owners, customers and others
• Write and influence specifications for consulting engineers and end users.
• Provide applications excellence to drive and support all Belimo Products.
• Effectively utilize sales tools including MS Dynamics.
• Manage, lead and inspire team including annual reviews
• Provide leadership to direct reports and develop goals and objectives
• Work on committees and special projects as requested.

Who You Are

• 7-10 Years of proven track record in consulting engineering, data center design/operations, or applicable experience in the HVAC or related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred.
• People management experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, inter-personal, and negotiation skills are required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are a must.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and other basic computer skills.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The salary for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 USD with an annual bonus up to 30%. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
