Job summary

CoolSys, a leader in sustainable HVACR solutions, is seeking a Foreman for Installation Refrigeration to lead crews installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. You will ensure quality, safety, and energy-efficient performance on client projects.

In this role you will interpret blueprints, coordinate piping and wiring, oversee start-up and commissioning, mentor technicians, and collaborate with engineering and asset management teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration installations and projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for HVACR installations.
• Familiarity with piping, brazing, line-set installation, and system start-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation crews on refrigeration projects.
• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specs for HVACR installations.
• Lay out and oversee piping, brazing, and line-set installation for rack systems.
• Coordinate and perform system evacuation, charging, start-up, and commissioning.
• Verify system operation, performance, and energy efficiency; support optimization.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for managers, engineers, inspectors, and customers.
• Plan daily work, assign tasks, and monitor productivity and quality.
• Enforce jobsite safety procedures and conduct regular safety meetings.
