Job summary

The role oversees Therapeutic Recreation and Music Therapy programs, supervising therapists and assistants, with collaboration on adult programming and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Training in Recreational Therapy, Rehabilitation Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Therapeutic Recreation and Music Therapy programs.
• Supervise recreational therapists, music therapists, and therapy assistants.
• Collaborate with Therapy Services Supervisor on training and coordination of adult programming.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives for resident programming and department functions.
