We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Essential duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for opening and closing the shift on a daily basisPrint and assign routes to employees in order for the team to begin operationsOversee all warehouse employees’ functionsResponsible for making sure of the adherence of FIFO (First In, First Out) with all warehouse employeesEnsure quality assurance procedures are followed, including product rotation and cycle countsResponsible for the picking and loading of all product in a timely mannerEnsure that cooler and freezer aisles, along with dock areas are always kept clean and sweptCommunicate with customers and clients if issues arise regarding delivery times or order discrepanciesResponsible for general warehouse cleanliness- ensure that the physical environment is in top condition (premises should be clean and well organized)Ensure that procedures for addressing possible theft of product are followed and adhered toEnsure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations ensuring cooperation with safety functionEnsure the reduction of financial loss related to damaged productsOversee the employees as to correct labeling of all products per our purchase orders and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Director of Warehouse Operations, or buyerConstantly inspect all work equipment to identify shortages and damages and relate findings to management for quick resolution to enable smooth flow of operationsMaking sure all equipment (Electric Pallet Jacks, Forklifts, and Scanner Guns) are charging by the end of the shiftServe as the Warehouse Supervisor in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor as assignedEnsure all products leave the warehouse in good conditionMake sure there is discipline in the working environmentMake sure no truck leaves with any missing or extra productIn case of any missing employee, warehouse lead will cover that positionIf in emergency, must make sure everyone evacuates the premises in a timely mannerHave skills and knowledge on how to clean hazardous spillsPerform related duties as assignedQualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s or an associate degree in administration, retail, merchandising, supply chain or any related field of study preferred.
